Banner - A picture/animated link for anyone to click to enter your affiliate link. 
                   You can add banners on your own website or blog to promote the PTC site 
                    that you joined.

                    and paste it into your HTML page.)

Direct referral - A person who signs up through your affiliate link. 
                                   Then, you become his/her sponsor.
Indirect referral - Anyone who signs up through your direct referral's affiliate link. 

Rented referral - Any non-sponsored referral you rent.

Neobux, for example, indicates the average earnings, the most recent clicks that rented referrals make and the number of rented days that are left before they expire.

Commission - The money you earn through the number of clicks your 
                               direct/indirect/rented referrals make.




Standard vs. Golden/Premium Membership  
- As a standard member, you earn commissions from referrals at the minimum rate. As a golden or premium member, on the other hand, you earn more with the higher commission rate and some other benefits such as referral sign-up bonus, more detailed statistics of your referral's earnings and higher number of your direct referral limit (in case of Neobux). It is great to upgrade your membership only if you have many referrals.
